He is survived by: his parents, Mary Alice and Ajaish; his sisters, Marian, Patty and Betty; his wife Ann Rather of Battle Creek, MI; his children, David, Rather, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Gerrard Williams (Molly) of Kalamazoo, MI and Yolanda Williams of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Donald Rather of Phoenix, AZ and Deborah Rather-Grubbs of Rahway, NJ.; his sister-in-law Susan Nelson; his friend Jamie Greary (Judy) of Richland, MI.; his wife Ann Ministries; and also, Ronald Bursley, Jodie Hernandez (Raphael), Pete Daniels and Overflow Ministries.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Bo's name to Overflow Ministries of Battle Creek, Mi and Motts Children's Hospital, a unit within University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
