He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schintzius and Ruth Francis Schintzius (Nuwer); and his grandson Tanner Schintzius. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Schintzius (Polak); his children, Wendy Toney (Fred), Christine Johnson, David M. Schintzius and Anthony Schintzius (Ashley Probol); his grandchildren, Briane Crouse (Keith), Matthew Johnson and Christopher Meserve; and his great grandchildren, Grady Crouse and Gannon Crouse.
