She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Pelfrey and Lola Pelfrey; her husband William Burchard; her son Ted Burchard; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Burchard.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Burchard of Battle Creek, Carolyn Heidiman of Battle Creek and Gwendolynn Patterson of Battle Creek. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America.
