He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scroggins and Lucy Scroggins (Pelfrey); and his brothers, Everett and Ollian. He is survived by: his children, Deborah, Johnny, Rick, Billy, Emily, Rebecca, Jamey, Melinda, Jeremy, Ray and Tim; his grandson Michael "Gizzy Boy" Packer; and his niece Sharon White.
