She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hampton and Loraine Hampton (Hagerty); and her brothers, Dennis Hampton and Thomas Hampton. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Bowers (David) of East Leroy and Joseph Shanks (Lisa) of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, David J., Paul Bowers, Haley Shanks and Braden Shanks; and her great grandchild David L. Bowers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan, Great Lakes Caring Hospice Foundation, or a charity of one's choice.
