She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Leonard Shinn and Gladys Shinn (Guston); her husband Alvin Nelson; her daughters, Denise Beltz and Karen Burrows; and her granddaughters, Rebecca Cantu and Renee Burrows. She was also cherished by four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
