Kaileb Cobb-Warner Obituary
Kaileb Cobb-Warner, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away at his home on September 5, 2018, at the age of 13. Kaileb enjoyed the simple but beautiful things in life. He loved music and soccer, roller skating and watching roller derby. He enjoyed swimming and bonfires, tubing and boat rides, but he also loved his video games. Oh boy did he love his video games. He loved animals, and he loved the Great Smoky Mountains. He has also been tirelessly trying to figure out what went wrong with the Titanic... “the unsinkable ship”. However, Kaileb most of all loved others. He was loyal and forgiving, as well as kind and giving. Kaileb keeps giving, even during his early departure from this earth, as the family has allowed the gift of life doctors to have whatever they needed in order to save lives. It was important to Kaileb that everyone be kind to each other and understand that words hurt. Kaileb was preceded in death by his father, Wade William Warner, Uncle Brandon Lee Cobb, Gr. Grandparents David W. Rench, Betty Rench, Alice Gallagher, and Wayne Lobert. Kaileb is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his Mother, Mellissa Cobb; Sisters: Zuria Cobb of Battle Creek, Shelby and Kenna Warner of Lansing; Brother, Dominic Pietila-Warner of Springport; Maternal Grandmother, Deborah Keefe of Battle Creek; Paternal Grandparents, George and Annette (Lobert) Warner; Uncles: Adam Keefe of Battle Creek, David C. Rench of Leonadis, and Matt (Stephanie) Warner of Onondaga and Kailee (Frank) Edging of New Mexico; Aunt, Dena (Jason) Snoes of Hillsdale; several cousins, great aunts and uncles and his special childhood friends: Kaiden and Kira Wines and Mia Taylor, all of Battle Creek. A candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday September 12th from 8:00p-8:30p at 556 Lakeview Avenue Battle Creek, Michigan, as well as a Memorial Service to be held on September 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Vickers Springport Funeral Home, 121 Pearl Street/P.O. Box 235, Springport, MI 49284. Family will greet friends beginning at 2:30 on the day of the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family.
