She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stewart and Geneiva Stewart; her husband Willie Sanders; her grandson Travis Stewart; her former husband Houston Cooper; and her daughter Loretta Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Edward C Stewart, Willie J Cooper (Robbie), Maurice Cooper Sr. (Angela), Joyce A Mays (David) and Yvonne Cooper; and her grandchildren, Brian Williams, Maurice Cooper Jr., Christopher Cooper, Willie Cooper, Brittany Cooper, Christa Small, Robin Cooper, Jordan Cooper, Marissa Richardson, Shontay Mays, Shayna Deal, Morgan Cooper (Cooper), Maurice M Cooper, Chanel Splane-Cooper, Cody of Corean, JJ, Kyron of Little Chris, CJ, LoLo, Skylar, Melis'Cyonna and Sekani.
