He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Greg VanderWaal (Kim), Gail Micheff (VanderWaal) (Jim), Curt VanderWaal (Rebecca), Robert VanderWaal (Jennie) and Chris VanderWaal (Macie); his sister Karen Kothe; and his friend Jesus. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
