He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Carl Wormmeester and Leona May Wormmeester (Buntz); and his stepson Scott Smith. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Ann Wormmeester (Phillips) of Springfield; his stepchildren, Richard Smith (Carrie) and Rosemary Higgason; his siblings, Rhoda Hooper, Virginia Millard, Kathy Wormmeester and Dale Wormmeester; his stepbrother Billy Smith; and his stepmother Clara Wormmeester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
