It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Sexton of Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Burgess and Betty Burgess; her husband Don Sexton; her grandson Anthony Sexton II; and her brother Ronald Burgess.
She is survived by: her children, Nikki Sexton and Tony Sexton; her grandson Nickolas Sexton (Harlee); her great grandchildren, Nickolas Jr. and Payton Sexton; her sisters, Darlene Williams, Bonnie Myers (Phil) and Sherry Raymond (Rick); and her siblings' children, Pam Hursley (Dale), Vicky Williams (Shelly), Cris Sexton, Stephanie Willavize (William), Scott Williams (Jasamine), Mike Williams (Chris), Chris Loman (Ginger), Josh Loman, Ryan Swank (Audrey), David Burgess and Rex Burgess (Nancy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Richard A Henry Funeral Home (703 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
