He is survived by: his spouse Lowella Gerlach; his children, Diane Truax (Gary) of Coldwater, Linda Gerstein (Robert) of Reisterstown, MD, Kathleen "Kitty" Roberts (Mike) of Allen, LuAnn Traves of Battle Creek, Dawn Harvey (John) of China Township and David McDowell of Quincy; his sister Rosetta Peckham; his grandson Anthony Robert Smith; and his great grandchild Heaven Waldecker. He is also survived by grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
