He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Michael Matyasic of Laingsburg, MI and Ann Ross (Brad) of Lake Orion, MI; and his grandchildren, Savahanna Matyasic, Sydney McClung (Geoff) and Connor Ross. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Walt was an active member of St. Jospeh Catholic Church, donating his time, energy, and skills to ensure the success of many fundraising projects like Superfest over the years.
