It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wauneta B. Russell (Battle Creek, Michigan), born in Quincy, Michigan, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Knapp and Geraldine Knapp (Smith); her husband Earl; her daughter Cathleen; her grandson Tyler Rapp; and her siblings, Barbara Dodge, Lowell Knapp, Waunda Robinson, Leon Knapp and Beverly Knapp.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Bowman (Ron) of Battle Creek, Rick Russell (Mary) of Marshall, Judy Russell of Marshall, Sharon Russell of Battle Creek and Earl "Bumper" Russell (Noel) of Bellevue; and her brothers, Nelson Knapp (Gail) of Girard and Charles Knapp (Susie) of Girard. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
