He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Wieland and Hanna Wieland (Schoenbine); his sisters, Dorothy Lehman and Sandra Hopkins; his wife Irene G. Sniecinski; his son Daniel Wieland; and his son-in-law Richard Linton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bethany Linton and Kimberly Jaynes; his daughter-in-law Christine Wieland; his grandchildren, Jenna Gembrowski (Luke), Brady Wieland (Carly), Conner Wieland and Taylor Jaynes; his brother Michael Wieland; and his nephew David Lehman (Michelle). He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Squires Funeral Home (211 N Henry St, Bay City, MI 48706). The military honors was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
