She was predeceased by : her father Jacob Sattler; and her siblings-in-law, Albert, Julia DeSimplaere, Delores Gaeth and Diane Hahn.

She is survived by : her sons, Gerald Desimpelaere Jr. and Edward Desimpelaere; the father of her children Gerald Desimpelaere Sr.; and her siblings, Rick Sattler, Michael Sattler, Joe Sattler (Patti) and Kristine McGowan (Ronald).
