She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Peoples and Ocea Peoples; her husband Donald Smerdon; her brothers, Milford, Byron and Clare Peoples; her daughter-in-law Terry Smerdon; and her grandson Shane Rezmer.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Smerdon, Jim Smerdon (Laura) and Cathy Rezmer (Randy). She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and her remaining good friends.
