It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen F. Bauer (Bay City, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 93, on December 20, 2022. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Fogarty and Norine E. Fogarty (Whyte); her husband Franklin H. Bauer; her siblings, Thomas M. (TM) and Katherine Timm (Huff); her nieces, Molly Huff, Amy Hall and Stacey Huff; her siblings-in-law, Thomas Bauer, William Bauer, Mary Schlicker (Alfred) and Jean MacGregor (Donald); and her daughter-in-law Judy Bauer.

She is survived by: her children, Timothy, Joy Keeler (Richard), Brian (Michele), Kerry Watson (David), Lori Rowan (William) and Matthew (Beth); her half-brother Michael Fogarty (Karen); and her sisters-in-law, Diane Centala and Lucy Bauer. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Parish or the wishes of the family.

“Hi there . . . I was sad to hear of ‘Fid’s’ passing. She was grand and I always enjoyed her company. I was very fond of her and always appreciated her laugh and sense of humor. She told me a number of years ago, on her visit to San Francisco, that the Munleys were one of the very few who called her Fid. I believe she was in her 80’s. Over dinner I accused her of being in the CIA - that Helen was a cover name. We laughed and laughed . . . Fid and Frank . . . Really good people.”
