She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Gibas and Anna Gibas (Lewicki); her husband Ervin S. Janasik; her son Randall E. "Randy" Janasik; her son-in-law Frank Valencia; her brothers, Leonard Gibas and Gerald Gibas (Virginia); her parents-in-law, Peter and Cecelia Janasik; and her in-laws, Lorraine and Bill Mindykowski.

She is survived by : her children, Shelby Valencia of California and Bruce Janasik (Cindy) of Pennsylvania; her grandsons, Nathan Janasik (Gina), Jonathan Janasik (Katelyn), Kevin Juliano (Stephen), Jeffrey Smith and Maxwell Valencia; her great grandchildren, Harrison Janasik and Henry Janasik; and her nephew Dennis Mindykowski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
