She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Oesterreicher and Mary Oesterricher (Frieders); her husband Nelson Opperman; her brother Charlie Oesterreicher; her sister-in-law Cindy Oesterreicher; her sister Mary Catherine Greeno; her brother-in-law Dean Greeno; and her nephew Jason Oesterreicher.

She is survived by : her former life partner Joseph Valigura; her children, Stephanie Valigura Ellsworth (David), Joseph Valigura (Charlene Helmsley), William Valigura (Diane), James Valigura and Lori Opperman McMullen (Todd); her grandchildren, Jordan Ellsworth (Hannah), Zachary Ellsworth, Nathan Ellsworth (Ming), Matthew McMullen and Christopher McMullen (Anna); her sisters, Carol Riesenberger (Robert) and Jan Oesterreicher; and her cousins, Frank, Fred and Barb Mandley. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
