He was predeceased by: his children, Randy and Pammy; and his siblings, Conrad, Delores Lijewski and Virginia Webber.

He is survived by: his wife Irene; and his children, Joseph III (Jean), Mark (Kendra), William (Carla) and Lori Hall (Shane). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
