Kathleen J. Yaworski Obituary

August 6, 1941 - November 6, 2017 Kathleen "Kathy" J. Yaworski Auburn, Michigan Mrs. Yaworski 76 passed away Monday November 6, 2017 at her home following a lingering illness with her family at her side. She was born in Bay City on August 6, 1941 to the late David & Lucille (Verbowski) Coyer. She married Edward Yaworski on September 16, 1961 at St. Valentine Church, Beaver, he survives her.

Kathy retired form Rush Printing & Stationary, sold jewelry from home and was a member of St. Gabriel Parish in Auburn. She was World Champion Class C Horseshoe Pitcher in 1997. She enjoyed archery, bowling, gardening, knitting and Kathy loved to paint and was very good at it. Surviving beside her husband of 56 years are their children Karen McCarthy, Richard Yaworski, Edward Jr. & Rebecca Yaworski and Jennifer Yaworski; 10 grandchildren Kayla McIntyre, Amy Jezowski, Megan & Amanda McCarthy, Elizabeth, Andrew, Jonah, Abigail, Eric and Aleah Yaworski; 3 great grandchildren Riley Seward, Taylin McIntyre and Scarlett Jezowski; brothers and sisters Mary Lee, Nanette, Joe, John, Gloria, David, Daniel, Bill, Mike, Sandy, Ted and Mark.

She was preceded in death by a son John Yaworski; brothers Larry, Leonard and Peter; 2 sisters Cindy and Joyce; a brother in law Bill Yaworski. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday November 10, 2017 at 10 am from St. Gabriel Parish-St. Anthony Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas Sutton presiding with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery.

Family will greet family and friends at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 1 to 8 pm. A Vigil Service will be held a 6pm Thursday at the funeral chapel. On Friday Mrs. Yaworski will lie in state at the church from 9 am until time of Mass. The family would like to extend a "Thank You" to the staff at Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care given to mom over the last months.
