It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona M. Lazarowicz (Bay City, Michigan), born in Elkton, Michigan, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ludwig Lazarowicz; and her son Quentin Lazarowicz. She is survived by: her children, Dale Lazarowicz (Vonnie), James Lazarowicz (Lorriann), Karen Peil (Kent), Arnold Lazarowicz (Dawn), Janet Beeck (Craig) and Ericia Kocks (Eric); her daughter-in-law Carolyn Lazarowicz; her grandchildren, Kraig, Mallory (Matt), Addison, Samantha (Jeff), Amanda Maggie (Trevor), Joe, Patrick, Daniel, Lauren, Taryn (Chris), Storm (Reece), Cody (Alexus), Nicole, Emily and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Hailey, Miles, Bentley, Quinnley, Bjorn, Violet and Harper; and her sister Joyce Buchanan (Keith).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gephart Funeral Home (201 W Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to Bay City McLaren Hospice or to Golden Horizons of Bay City.
