She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Shepard and Maxine Shepard (Swanson); her husband David G. Kostus; her son Kevin David Kostus; her brother-in-law Edwin J. Kostus; and her niece Lonnae Kostus.
She is survived by: her children, Linda, Scott Kostus (Josh) of Arizona and Jodie Spangler (John) of Brighton; her grandsons, Sean, Christian and Brendan Spangler; her sister Diane Jonas; her sister-in-law Shirley Williams (David); her nieces and nephews, Vickie Nagy (Roger), Jeff Wilson (Sandy), Mike Wilson (Lisa), Robin Del Vecchio (Pete), Julie Beffrey (Art), Blaine Kostus (Kim) and Craig Kostus; and her godchildren, Jason Nagy and Toni Sue Meldrum. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
