She was predeceased by: her parents, Casimer Sieja and Dorothy Sieja (Gielda); her husband William Cowan; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Galloner and Bernie Klosowski.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Germain (John) and Bryan Cowan (Christine); her grandchildren, Ashley Bookmyer (Kalup Bentz), Aaron Bookmyer, Andrew Cowan (Brittney), Zachary Cowan (Sarah) and Nicole Cowan; her stepgrandchildren, William, Scotty, Chris Germain and Jonelle Schmalshof; her great grandchildren, Avery, Jace and Duncan Cowan; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Peyton, Carrina, Dixon Schmalshof, BrookeLynn, Kinsley, Colbi, Milo and Aiden Germain; her siblings, Alan Sieja (Gerri), Germaine Klosowski and Beverly; her brother-in-law Paul Duranso; and her godsons, Jeff Sieja and Michael Galloner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services – Bay County (821 N Pine Rd, Essexville, MI 48732). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or wishes of the family.
