She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Scherping and Gretchen Scherping (Zehnder); her grandsons, Eric Burk and Todd Archangeli; her great grandchild Scarlet Archangeli; and her siblings, Caroline Thayer, Kenny Scherping and Jim Scherping.
She is survived by: her husband Jerold Diehl; her children, Randy Diehl (Maggie), Suzanne Burk (Patrick), Linda Goodman and Jerold Diehl Jr.; and her sisters, Gretchen Howard (Chaz), Mary Bauer and Joann Howard. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
