He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Charbonneau and Myrtle Charbonneau (Revord); his siblings, Dorothy Bouza (Andrew), Myrtle "Sy" Walczak, Wilford "Sonny" Charbonneau (Betty) and Kenneth "Chum" Charbonneau (Ruth); his nephew Randy Charbonneau; and his great-nephew Michael Charbonneau Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Charbonneau; his children, Maureen Hoppe (Curt), Cheryl Starkey (James), Mary E. Heath (David), Russell Charbonneau (Joann), Daniel Charbonneau (Sherri) and Timothy Charbonneau; his grandchildren, Brooke Barnhill (Drew) of Russell, Charbonneau Jr., Jennifer Woloszyn (Todd), Jason Hoppe, Jarrod Starkey (Paige LaFave), Tyler Starkey (Sydney), Kara Charbonneau, Sarah Wood (Montey), Morgan Winters (David) and Garrett Charbonneau (Alexis); his great grandchildren, Cayden, Darian, Josh, Jace, Kylee, Bailey, Riley, Landon, Ethan, Eli and Leighton; and his close friend Bud Leser.
