With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Schrems (Bay City, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on August 6, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schrems and Kathryn Schrems (McPhee); his sister Janet Schrems; his nephew Scott Hincka; and his brother-in-law Jim Hincka.
He is survived by: his children, Katie Schrems, Emily Schrems (Stephen Hogenson) and Connor Schrems; the mother of his children Lori Bednar; his son-in-law CJ Walleck; his granddaughter Sloane Hogenson; and his siblings, Dan Schrems (Linda), Mary Hincka, Joe Schrems (Annie Houlihan), Eileen Kaufmann (Dave), Peggy Garabelli (Mark) and Jim Schrems. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and dogs.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (510 W Ivy Ave, Bay City, MI 48706).
