With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Velting-Baker (Belmont, Michigan), who passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Wierenga and Dena Wierenga; her husband John Velting; her sons, Jerry and Johnny Velting; and her siblings, Barb Rutka, Lois Versluis and Rich VanBelcom.

She is survived by: her brother Archbishop. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Episcopal Church.
