He is survived by : his wife Dian Mahar; his sons, Jack Mahar Jr (Dawn), Stephen Mahar of Niles, Andrew Mahar (Christine) of Niles and Michael Mahar (Jennifer) of Niles; his stepsons, Dana Rose (Kathy) of Coloma, George Rose of Hartford, Brad Rose (Karen) of Watervliet and Erik Rose of Hartford; his grandchildren, Krysta-Lee, Hannah, Colton, Chelsea, Tyler, McKenzie, Gavin, Brad Jr. and Brook; his great grandchildren, Kaleb, William and Jaxon; and his siblings, Dixie Schauer (Paul) of Paw Paw, Joe Mahar (Tammy) of Boonsville, Gary Mahar (Stacy) of Mineral Wells and Tonja Mahar of Azle.
Donations may be made in Ed's memory to Memorial Herman who supports those with Leigh's Syndrome, in honor of Ed's great-grandson, or to the Southwestern Michigan Veteran's Support Group whom Ed supported through the American Legion.
