He was predeceased by : his wife Betty Graham Hunt. He is survived by : his son Mike; his sister Ethel Glueckert; his sons, Dennis and Rick Hoover; his grandchildren, Eric, Sarah, Aaron, Rachel and Hillary; his great grandchildren, Weston, Devan, Alley, Blake, Ava and Wyatt Cole; and his nieces and nephews, Sandra Winters, Cheryl Glueckert, Ann Sexton, John, Chris, Keith Glueckert, Terry, Ron Hoover and Kevin Buyer.
