She was predeceased by : her parents, Arvo John and Marion Lempi Torkko (Hakenen); her husband Robert J. Hellman; her siblings-in-law, Janet Shoholm and Ron Tourville; and her cousin Arthur "Bud" Sopko.
She is survived by : her pet Ella; her sister Sally Tourville; her sons, John (Janet), Jim (Connie), Joe (Merrie Beth) and Jay (Beth); and her grandchildren, Eric Pylkas, Matt Hellman, Jessie Hellman, Eric Tadlock, Corey Pylkas, David Tadlock, Leanne Ray (Pylkas), Ben Hellman, Jack Hellman, Chelsea Hellman, Josie Hellman, Grace Hellman, Daniel Hellman, Madison Beck, Josh Hellman and Olivia Hellman. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; three nieces and a nephew.
