He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Duchaine and Agnes Duchaine (Okerlund); his daughter Anne; his granddaughter Danica; his brothers, John and Clarence; and his stepbrother Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla "Pat" Boynton; his children, Ted of Nebraska and Cheryl Thorpe; and his sisters, Donna of Minnesota and DeeDee of Minnesota. He is also survived by six grandsons; nine great-grandchildren.
