He was predeceased by : his parents, Eskel Sand and Elizabeth Sand (Loos) of Ironwood; his former life partner Ruth Anderson; his son Richard; his brothers-in-law, James "Hummo" Anderson of Wakefield and Alvin Stephniewski of West Bend, WI; and his nephew Gary Alvin Stepniewski.
He is survived by : his wife JoAnne Erickson; his daughter Carolyn Sand Isit (Chris); his grandchildren, Zackary, Anita, Tony, Christopher and Nikia Isit; his stepchildren, Stephanie Erickson Hall (Kevin) and Ashley Erickson; his stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie of Bessemer and Ethan Hall (Shakeal) of Green Bay, WI; his stepgreat-grandchild Rubi Hall; his sister Mae Sand Stepniewski of West Band, WI; his nephew Daniel Stepniewski (Julie); his great-nephew Zachary; his sister Carol Anderson of Wakefield; his brother-in-law Gail Anderson; his nephew Billy of Wakefield; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Anderson (Toni-Ann) of Wakefield, Darlene Petkac (Norman) of Cleveland, Bonita Erickson (Andres), Zamora Erickson of Kenosha, WI and Gordon Erickson (Linda) of Wausau, WI.
