He was predeceased by : his parents, Alger Gokey and Sarah Gokey (Amidon); and his siblings, Almon Gokey, Ed Gokey and Reenie.
He is survived by : his son Ron Gokey; and his siblings, Maxine "Ordie" Boss, Catherine Bright and John Gokey (Pat). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
