Jane Chika wrote a sympathy message

“Patricia and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Tita was so sweet. She took my mom under her wing when they were neighbors at Sheridan. When my mom moved there a year ago, she cried often, and Tita comforted her and sat with her and talked to her every day. She was a special lady. My mom and I have made a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Teresita Piedrahíta's name. Jane Chika & Donna Chika”
