He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ray Thomas and Mildred Abel Thomas; his wife Betty Jane Yahn; his children, Michael (JoAnne), Susan Knight (Dennis), Michele Thomasma (Tee) and Lisa Haboian (David); his grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Melissa Thomas, Mark Thomas, James Thomas Jr., Courtney Thomasma, Bradley Thomasma, Danielle Thomasma, Jennifer DeKruif, Lauren Pitsch and Christopher Haboian; and his former life partner Phyllis Berry. He was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren.

Family suggests memorial tributes to be sent to the Alzheimer's Association. ~Lovingly written by the family.
