She was predeceased by : her parents, Ida Smith and Edward Daniel Smith; her brothers, Edward Ralph Smith and Robert Curtis Smith; her niece Suzanne Smith; and her brothers-in-law, George P. Richards and Aniceto Muniz Jr..

She is survived by : her husband James R. Cloutier of Ecorse; her sisters, Janet Richards and Catherine Muniz; and her sisters-in-law, Antoinette Smith and Cheryl Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
