She was predeceased by : her siblings, Hugh Sabin and Mary Denslow. She is survived by : her husband Gerald Mapes; her sons, Garry (Cheryl), Clifford (Kathy) and Jeffrey Mapes (Lori); and her grandchildren, Trevor, Wade (Heidi), Nathan (Brittani), Amber Mapes, Nicole Stewart (Chad), Abby Grabowski (Rob) and Ethen Mapes.

Friends and family who wish to make a charitable donation in her memory, may do so to either Grandvue Medical Care Facility or the Grandvue Auxiliary.
