It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Chappell of Boyne City, Michigan, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Crouterfield and Tillie Crouterfield (Jacobs); her husbands, Floyd Johnson and Richard Chappell; her siblings, Irving Crouterfield, Ida Mae Moore and Jean Talboys (John); and her son-in-law Ron Powers.
She is survived by : her children, Terri Powers and David Johnson. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Boyne City First Presbyterian Church or the Charlevoix County Humane Society.
