We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 93, James Glenn Karlskin of Boyne City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Dewey Karlskin and Emma Elizabeth Watson; and his children, Jimmy, Diane, Kathy, David and Donny.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Marie Karlskin (Elzinga); his daughters, Lisa Roback (Tim), Chris Karlskin and Gail Molby (David); his grandchildren, Nick Karlskin, Jeremy Karlskin, Justin Molby, David Powers (Amber), Trista Karlskin (Richard Idolski), James Thompson (Erica Bennett), Allan Thompson (Angie), John Paul Thompson (Alyssa) and Timothy Roback (Sarah Holland); his great grandchildren, Grace, Payton, Charlie, Olivia, Wyatt and Leighlynn; and his close friends, John and Helen Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stackus Funeral Home (417 Elm St, Boyne City, MI 49712). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the caretakers at Munson Hospice.
