She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Edward, Margaret Handley, William and Adaline Spreeman; and her granddaughter Elena Hope Jeffrey.

She is survived by : her parents, Richard Handley and Jane Lewis; her husband Scott; her sons, Andrew Jeffrey (Brandy) and Jerek Jeffrey (Amanda); her grandchildren, Tristan Allen Johnson, Colin Raymond Johnson, Ava Rose Jeffrey and Edwin Jonathon Jeffrey; and her sisters, Rita Judkins (Jeff) and Barbara Rorrer (Brian). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, two sisters-in-law, and several aunts.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lenawee County Relay for Life in Shelley's name.
