He was predeceased by : his father Charles Grifka; his brother Clarence Grifka; and his godmother Deana Schick. He is survived by : his mother Diana Grifka (Hacker); his wife Michelle Kroetsch; his children, Brady, Clayton and Courtney Grifka; his siblings, Rebecca Cortes (Rupert), Karlene Grifka and Christopher Grifka; his nephews, Charles and Michael Cortes; his godfather Dareld Schick; and his parents-in-law, Roger and Carol Kroetsch.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund in care of Michelle Grifka.
