Deborah Brown Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Brown (Flint, Michigan), who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franklin Shumaker and Merry Joyce Shumaker (Sloan). She is survived by: her husband Ray Brown; her children, Rev. Paul Brown (Rebekah), Rev. James Brown (Rachel), Rev. Andrew Brown (Tiffany), Deborah Knapp (Garett) and Rev. Anthony Gonzalez (Laura); her grandchildren, Elliana, Kaleb, Isaac, Austin, Alaynna, Preston, Gabrielle and Judah; and her siblings, Pam Perkins (Bob) and Robert Shumaker (Becki). She is also survived by aunts, cousins and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Flint Tabernacle (G3450 Saginaw St, Burton, MI 48529).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Flint Tabernacle Building Fund.
