She is survived by: her husband Rene J. Bede; her children, Martin Rene Bede and Keri Piner (Duke); her grandchildren, Peyton, Garrett Vinson of North Carolina and Emma Piner; and her sisters, Bernadette Messing and Lucille Wodwaski.
