It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Mielke (Cadillac, Michigan), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Mielke and Jeannie Mielke (LaPorte). He is survived by : his friend Daisy; his wife Sherrie of Cadillac; his children, Jeff Mielke (Sierra) of Cadillac, Courtney Jenema (Bret) of Lake City, Kara Mielke of Tennessee and Heather Abbey of Winn; his grandchildren, Mathew, Elizabeth, Hailey, Alexis, Cason, Trinity, Dallas, Trey, Blaine, Alyssa, Kalani, Elenora, Karley, Brealynn and Alania; and his siblings, Dan Mielke, Dennis Mielke (Kathy), Donna Zielinski (Roy) and Debbie Konkol (Pat Prudhomme).
During a visit to and amazing bird rescue and sanctuary in Tennessee, Dave, found his passion and love for birds and would ask for any memorial contributions to be directed to Parrot Mountain, at 1471 McCarter Hollow Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37862.
