Devere F. Emmons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Devere F. Emmons of Cadillac, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis C. Emmons and Anna A. Emmons (Peterson); his spouse Beverly A. Elliott; his siblings, Donna (Kenneth Whaley), Bonnie Whaley, Harold Emmons, Ray (Lavonne Emmons) and Lyle (June Emmons); and his in-laws, James "Mart", Agatha Elliott, Bob, Karen Elliott, Lester and Louise Bouwma.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanine Emmons (Steve Johnson), Denise Evans (Tom), Malissa Thompson (Scott), Linda Emmons and Steven Emmons (Dawn); his grandchildren, Zachary Nimeth, Alayna Pressel (Mitchell), Steven Matzen, Alex Thompson (Ashley) and Taylor Thompson (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Ava, Levi Matzen, Zayn, Elliott Pressel, Teaghan and Riley Thompson; and his brother-in-law Ray Whaley.
