He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Berkobien and Edna Berkobien (Nuerminger); his former life partner Margaret; and his daughter Annette Berkobien. He is survived by : his wife Maryann Karamol of Canadian Lakes; his children, Lee Berkobien of Ann Arbor, Brian Berkobien of Kenockee, MI, Kelley Simpson (Rodney) of New Albany, OH and Chris Berkobien (Beverly) of Frankenmuth; his stepchildren, Chris Karamol (Brandy) of Ft. Worth, TX and Scott Karamol (Heather) of Taylors, SC; and his sister Shirley Hall of Grayling. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, one great grandchild.
