It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mary Vollmar of Caro, Michigan, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Mary Vollmar to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smakowski and Katherine Smakowski; her husband Dwain Vollmar; and her son-in-law James LaPratt. She is survived by: her children, Diane LaPratt, Gary Vollmar (Kathy), Dale Vollmar and Randy Vollmar; and her sister Wanda McNeil. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Tuscola County Veteran Affairs or to a charity of the donor's choice.
