She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Krause and Dorothy Krause (Diehl); her husband Chester "Chet" Nowak; and her siblings, Marie Greenia, Harold Krause and Freddie Krause.

She is survived by : her children, Fred (Cheryl Nowak) and Debra (Paul Fuller); her grandchildren, Patrick (Lisa Nowak), Stefanie (Travis Eyer), Jacob Fuller of Gagetown and Andrea (Brian Davis); and her great grandchildren, Hudson Nowak of Bay City, Nolan, Pierce Eyer of Fairgrove, Abigayle of New Bern, John Tyler Oliva of New Bern, Kaylee of New Bern and Jeffrey Davis of New Bern. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
